I recently visited london with Paul Taylor to photograph DJ Vadim.

Seemed like a very agreeable chap. Plus he had a wealth of music hardware in his enviable studio. First time I've seen an MPC in the flesh. /plastic.

Currently using DeviantArt's print system which by
all accounts is capable of producing prints of much splendor.

So far the number of prints is small. I'm not going to just put up anything. Photos are carefully selected & re-edited for big print standards. The number available will increase with time and I am very much open to requests.

Jazz Maverick, orchestrator and nice bloke.
Currently touring with Jamie Cullum in the US.

It's been sitting around for a healthy amount of time but this is image which, all being well, should grace the front of the next album. Entitled 'Raise the Stakes' it should be in popular music emporiums early in the summer.

TDK Cross Central 2005

Recently covered the TDK Festival in Kings Cross, London for gigwise.

From what I hear it's the 2nd year of the festival and a lot better organised than last year. Although still a bit rough around the edges in some areas.

Some of my personal fave pics are on my flickr account in this here TDK set .

www.ashverjee.com. The site of Oxford composer, wait for it....Ash Verjee, who has recently finished his debut album. Which is beyond good, featuring notes in arrangements I can barely comprehend.

The available mp3s are defintely all MANDATORY DOWNLOADS. There can be no better example than "fall".

nervous_testpilot has finally got his sparkly shiny new CD out into the wild world. It's awesome. Like 10 Ninjas jumping out of an erupting volcano whilst wailing out some not entirely unmemorable riffs on electric guitars and kicking evil Ninjas right in the face!.

I've had the fortune to spend a very long late evening and day with the pop band the kids are going crazy for. "Trademark" I believe they are called.

We had a delightful evening standing around in complete darkness shining torches at passing cars and trying not to fall into rivers/tred in poo.

The fruits of this exercise will become apparent at some point in the future. There are more photo sessions to come with the synth people, but in the meantime here's a photo, sans Trademark.

nervous_testpilot - Determinance EP

nervous_testpilot asked me to design the cover for his upcoming soundtrack CD for the video game determinance by Mode7games.

I worked with Binster on the overall design and concentrated on the image myself.

So what is it? Big ships. Bass-ships to be exact. I made a Combinator for Reason3.0 which is essentially an awful noise. In the form of bass. I'll put it up on here soon. Very soon in fact.
The Bass-ship sound, and Derterminance formed the basis for the inspiration for this pic.

The bass-ship synth was used in the 'Burn - Fire Escape Mix' which you can download here also. I've used it in a few other tracks which might see the light of day one day.
