just learned about your whistler app after just discovering the 'my dream app' website..- yours was truly the most interesting one there. The idea is brilliant, as I can often whistle random riffs that are great, but if I try to translate it onto a keyboard, I fumble and lose it. PLEASE PLEASE build this app it will be VERY highly regarded in the digital music world!

I have to agree that the remaining "ideas" are somewhat tawdry. I guess that "new" wasnt the criteria - non of them would have a hope of getting a patent.
Who gets the royalties from the Dream App? The site owners could be on to a nice little earner!
I heard of a service something like whistler but this uses your cell phone to ID current music in a database and its not creative.
